Figureweave Accountancy

Message from Frances, of Figureweave Accountancy

As my clients know, I’m in the process of retiring. For many years I couldn’t imagine doing that, as I’ve enjoyed running my business and looking after some very lovely people. In fact running my business was a lifestyle for me that couldn’t be bettered.

However, I think it’s important to start retirement when you’re fit and able and can build up a new network of interests.

So that’s why I’m going now.

And of course, I wouldn’t want my clients to have to hunt for their next accountant.

I’ve spent time interviewing a variety of other accountants to take over from me and was fortunate to meet Marcus Gooch , of Kimber William & Co. They’re based in Reigate.

Kimber William & Co is a small accountancy practice, like mine, and Marcus has the same interest in talking to clients and looking after them as I have.

It was essential for me that my clients wouldn’t suffer just because I’m departing the accounting world. Marcus is an experienced accountant and I get on with him well. I trust him to take over as seamlessly as possible from me.

We regularly liaise so that the takeover goes smoothly, but I’m still around if former clients want to get in touch.

Meanwhile I’ve joined Kimber William & Co as a consultant and am very happy to recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a new accountant.

Kind regards

Frances Conn
